On March 21st, Toa Faneva, President of the North Tech New Zealand, together with Senior Partnership, School Manager, Tan Xueqin, visited YWICC for exchange and discussions on advancing Sino-foreign cooperation in education. Ma Guang, president of YWICC, and Fan Yao, vice President of YWICC, met with the guests, with leaders from International Office, School of Foreign Studies, and relevant staff attending the meeting.

President Ma Guang warmly welcomed the visit of Toa Faneva. He introduced schools recent educational achievements to the guests, summarized the cooperation and exchanges between our two colleges. He emphasized the establishment of the "1123" international education system, continuous promotion of high-level openness of YWICC, and the enhancement of the internationalization of YWICC's education. He expressed his hope to deepen cooperation in educational projects with North Tech, continuously improve the quality of cooperative education, achieve comprehensive and sustainable development of Sino-New Zealand cooperative education, and build a brand for vocational education cooperation between China and foreign countries.

President Toa Faneva expressed gratitude for the warm reception at the school by singing a Maori blessing song. He congratulated YWICC on its achievements in international education and discussed the opportunities and impacts of the recent vocational education reforms in New Zealand on North Tech. He noted that YWICC is an important partner with a solid seven-year cooperation foundation.

Subsequently, both parties reviewed and summarized the operation of cooperative education projects, discussed specific issues and future directions for deeper cooperation, and reached a consensus to continue the Sino-New Zealand cooperative education projects. Gifts were exchanged between two colleges, symbolizing the deep friendship between us.

YWICC also held a meeting for students of International Business (Sino-New Zealand Education Cooperation project) program and the graduation ceremony for the 2021 students.

After the ceremony, President Toa Faneva and his delegation took a photo with students and Chinese teachers.

Later, President Toa Faneva and his delegation visited the on-campus training base of School of Foreign Studies, and the multilingual cross-border e-commerce live streaming base in Yiwu International Market. They carefully inquired about the cross-border live streaming situation with the responsible teachers, understood our college's integrated education-industry model for cross-border e-commerce live streaming, and expressed full approval to the students there.
