From April 20 to 27, the 2025 "Digital North Africa·Digital Innovation" Skills Challenge was successfully held at Hassan I University in Morocco. Guided by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Morocco, the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment of Tunisia, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt, the event was organized by the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association.

Under the guidance of Mr. Zhang Zao from the School of Mechatronics & IT of YWICC, students Zheng Meiru and Jin Zhanhong got second place in the competition, demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge and outstanding practical skills, and were awarded the silver medal in the international finals.
