Recently, the School of Humanities and Tourism organized a team of excellent students to conduct a study tour in Macao, which provided an innovative practical platform for students with a broadened perspective and enriched experiences, promoting their overall development.
The study tour team consisted of 2 teachers as team leaders and 30 excellent university students through careful selection. Activities conducted at the University of Macao included themed courses, study exchange sessions, experiences of Macao university life, and visits to the old city area of Macao.
During the 5-day trip, the teachers and students delved into the development process and culture of Macao, explored the collision and integration of Eastern and Western cultures, and learned about the educational teaching models in a multicultural context within the academic atmosphere of higher education institutions. They expressed that this study tour provided them with advanced conceptual knowledge, broadened their cognitive horizons, and strengthened their foundation of thought, laying a new starting point for future learning and work.
This study tour in Macao is an innovative attempt by the School of Humanities and Tourism to practice the concept of international education. It not only enhances the effectiveness of the education and nurtures students, but also strengthens mutual learning, mutual evaluating, and mutual exchange among universities, promoting cross-cultural communication and integration.
