On October 20, as part of the 2026 China-Africa Economic, Trade and Cultural Series of Events, 2026 China-Africa TVET Cooperation Dialogue was successfully held in Jinhua. Centered on the theme “Mechanism, System and Development — A New Model of China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation via ‘One Province Partnering with One African Country’”, the Dialogue was co-hosted by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and the Jinhua Municipal People’s Government, and jointly undertaken by Jinhua University of Vocational Technology and Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College. More than 150 representatives from educational authorities, vocational colleges, research institutions and enterprises of China and Africa gathered in Jinhua. Within the framework of South-South and tripartite cooperation in vocational education, they exchanged views and conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperation mechanism, implementation approaches and value objectives of the “One Province Partnering with One African Country” model, to explore practical pathways for pragmatic China-Africa cooperation in vocational education.
