On June 17, 2026, the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026 was held at the Danxi Cultural Hall.

President Xu Meiyan delivered a speech titled "Dare to Innovate, Dare to Pioneer, and Write an Extraordinary Life". On behalf of the college, she extended warmest congratulations to all graduates who had successfully completed their studies. She reviewed the three-year journey of growth during which the graduates, guided by the "Wheat Plan," broke through barriers and achieved distinction. Using the growth of wheat as a metaphor, she offered three hopes for the graduates: to establish themselves in character, in career, and in life.

Zhou Jianping, a representative of the graduating class advisors, fondly recalled the three years of shared growth with the Class of 2026. She encouraged the graduates to take good care of themselves and remain optimistic, to keep learning and embrace change proactively, and to stay grounded while being warm-hearted and kind. She concluded by encouraging the students to carry forward the spirit of the college motto as they forge ahead, and to always remember to come back home.

Shao Junyi, a graduate from the School of Humanities and Tourism, spoke as the student representative. He reflected on his transformative three-year college journey from three perspectives: metamorphosis, perseverance, and gratitude. He shared his personal story of transitioning from military service to campus life, achieving excellence in competitions and successfully advancing to further studies through the college-to-university pathway. He sincerely wished his alma mater continued prosperity and lasting renown.

At the ceremony, Ye Siyuan, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, read out the commendation announcements. College leaders presented awards to "Provincial Outstanding Graduates" and "Golden Wheat Students," and conferred graduation certificates to the graduate representatives.

Referring to current hot topics, he shared three reflections with the Class of 2026: first, cultivate a deep sense of patriotism and integrate personal warmth into the broader context of the era; second, set ambitious goals and cultivate the perseverance to overcome challenges and stay the course; and third, keep improving yourself and continuously surpass yesterday's self in this best of times.Finally, Ma Guang wished all graduates a brave journey ahead, enriched by the spirit and patriotism nurtured in this reform-minded land of Yiwu. He affirmed that their alma mater will always be their steadfast support, and he expressed hope that all graduates would often return to visit.
