To enhance mutual understanding and exchange between Chinese and foreign cultures and to promote collaboration among government, universities, and enterprises, the 9th International Culture Festival, hosted by School of International Education, officially opened at Danxi Hall on the morning of May 20. Fan Yao, Member of Party Committee and Vice President of YWICC; He Shaoqing, President of the Alumni Association of YWICC and over 500 participants including guests from Regional Health Bureaus, Yiwu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Shangcheng community, Chouzhou Commercial Bank, leaders from relevant departments and schools, international students, and all faculty and students of School of International Education attended the opening ceremony.
During the opening ceremony, several major initiatives were launched: the unveiling of the “Zhu Danxi TCM Culture International Communication Base,” the signing of a Party-building partnership between School of International Education and Yiwu TCM Hospital, the appointment of international ambassadors for TCM culture, and the inauguration of the “Chouyin Youth Innovation Space” for international students entrepreneurship. The Central Asia Alumni Association of YWICC was also established. Following the ceremony, a cultural fair featuring international cuisine, traditional Chinese arts, and TCM cultural experiences attracted broad participation. The festival showcased diverse cultural heritages from both China and around the world through various cultural performances and interactive games, being an important platform for youths over the world with shared dreams to communicate.
