On March 20 local time in Morocco, Chinese Ambassador to Morocco, Li Changlin, visited Morocco Branch of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College- Yiwu Business School in Morocco to provide guidance and unveil the Yiwu Silk Road Institute (Morocco), a cooperative effort with our school. The unveiling ceremony was attended online by Ma Guang, president of YWICC, Fan Yao, Vice President of YWICC, heads of International Office, School of Foreign Studies, including Barkaoui, president of the Mundiapolis University in Morocco, Vice Chairperson Mazuz of the North African International Education Innovation Alliance, Cultural Officer Liu Chengang from the Embassy, our teacher Su Man stationed at the Yiwu Business School in Morocco, and student representatives.

President Ma Guang expressed gratitude for Ambassador Li Changlin's guidance at the Yiwu Business School in Morocco, affirming the college's commitment to the national goal of building a strong educational country, implementing a two-way interaction between "introducing in" and "going out," and implementing the national "China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Plan." He emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation with Mundiapolis University to jointly establish the Yiwu Business School and Silk Road Institute (Morocco), creating a platform for cultural exchange and youth development between China and Morocco to promote mutual growth and set an example for educational cooperation.

Subsequently, Ambassador Li Changlin interacted with the faculty and students of the Yiwu Business School in Morocco, delivering a speech on the theme of "New Era of China-Morocco Relations." Ambassador Li highlighted the current peak in China-Morocco relations, with frequent high-level visits, China emerging as Morocco's third-largest trading partner, increased enthusiasm from Chinese companies investing in Morocco's energy and automotive sectors. He encouraged the students present to become ambassadors of China-Morocco friendship, injecting new dynamics into the all-around cooperation between the two nations. During the interactive session, Ambassador Li discussed issues such as interactions between Chinese and African youth, expanding the reach of Chinese language education, and visa procedures for studying in China with the faculty and students.
