Te Pūkenga is the largest higher education institution in New Zealand, bringing a new system of career-focused education to students through the merger of 16 New Zealand polytechnics.
Te Pūkenga is the largest higher education institution in the Northern Region, with the main branch NorthTec campus located in Whangarei and Auckland campus in the central business district of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city.
NorthTec, as a government-owned higher institution, has always adhered to the high standards and quality of education set by the New Zealand Government. The College has more than 7,500 full-time and part-time students enrolled in more than 140 professional and training courses, covering university-standard bachelor's degrees, diplomas, certificates, preparatory education and English language training courses.
